Can anyone help with this - the title of a song with lyrics something like "One more drop of whisky, daddy, the baby's crying again". Apparently, this record had the sound of a baby crying on it which was considered controversial at the time and might have even got it banned by the BBC. ANy help much appreciated.

Hi, Boatin' Wend - I doubt if the song is Nancy Whiskey.

I think Keberoxu may be right, that it could be "Don't Sell Daddy Any More Whiskey," although I couldn't find a version with the words you specify.

Take a look at the threads I've crosslinked above, and see if any of them have a song like the one you're looking for.

Pretty sure it isn't "Nancy Whiskey". I'm not an expert but the context of the song seems to have little to do with what you said.

Not too helpful, I know, but I wouldn't look specifically for any signposts that suggest "Nancy Whiskey".
