Some sources say she was struck by the obby orse framework and suffered a serious neck injury and died later in hospital. A very sad affair.

I heard that the poor lady was found injured, not by the Obby Oss at all, perhaps as the result of an assault. I have no confirmation of this rumour. Does anyone else have any information?

there would be maybe hundreds of witnesses and videos galore if it involved the Hobby 'Oss.

The Police have two lines of enquiry,one that she was struck by the Blue horse or she may have been assaulted.
The Blue Oss was examined and returned to the team.
The Lady was the wife of the landlord of a local pub.
There have been no recent updates in the local papers or on local tv, only that enquiries are continuing and if anyone has further information
would they give it to the Police.

BBC News 25/06/2019; Police investigated reports she may have been hit by the blue ribbon oss and looked into claims she may have been assaulted by a woman earlier that evening. The force said officers had "decided that there would be no criminal charges brought against any person linked to Laura's death". The force has now referred the death to the coroner.
