Enormously sad. Very entertaining on Facebook and had some amusing snippets of chats online as she was happy to comment and interact sometimes. Seemed a really nice lady and will miss her posts. First listened to her in the 1960’s when I bought the first Fairport album. She will have been keen that someone looked after her much loved and pampered hound. Sad news.

I saw the lady with FC at a bank holiday bash near Leicester in 1968. Excellent and (to my Soulboy ears) original

Awful news. I always rated her as a sensitive gentle singer back in '68 and had the odd conversation via LinkedIn. She said her biggest mistake had been "always saying yes to everything!" Great fun and a pleasure to have had that contact. Bless her heart.

I was sorry to hear that Judy had died. A lovely voice and a lovely person to match. There is a wealth of further information on the web, well worth a look. Judy now has a place in the mudcat "In Memoriam" thread and my sympathies are with all those who know and love her.
