Yes, Iran seems to have finally caught flame as this movement pressures the government to back down.

I suspect Trump of egging on Putin somehow. Don't know how he's doing it, but I feel certain that Putin will help Trump if Trump helps Putin.

There have now been five protesters sentenced to death in Iran.

They have threatened thousands of executions. Never mind destroying a huge swath of the population and the country's future, old religious men must show that they are in power. A perfect example of why religions can be so so very harmful.

Muslim women are often appallingly treated if they dare to stand up to oppression. For instance, buried up to their necks in the sand then rocks hurled at their heads to finish them off.
It seems that women demonstrating to oppose something is regarded as a heinous sin. Utterly barbaric and primitive to condemn them to death.
I do respect my husband's adherence to his religion, and have read the entire Koran in translation, but I'm a feminist, so this causes conflict between us. I'm told I'm not 'submissive enough'!!!

So far, two protesters have been put to death,
and there are threats of sentencing
a soccer player for the Iran men's team, of all the stupid things.

The New York Times reports that
at least eight people have been formally executed
since the death of Mahsa Amini.


The men are not having an easy time of it, either.
The latest execution was of a mentally ill man
who drove his car over a police officer.
