I now sing it to my beautiful Granddaughter. I guess it's being passed down through the family. They had, as I recall, a well-organized house, with rotation of "staff" through the week. Terre Haute had a bunch of cathouses in those days, as EVERYBODY knew. In fact the saying was that over a period of years a candidate for the mayoralty of Terre Haute made the announcement of his campaign by telling the press that "There is NO prostitution in Terre Haute!"
