It was unincorporated for eons, and just incorporated in the last 10 years or so, taking its name from the airport (albeit without the hyphen). It's rather confusing.

Just across the pond from Musicman and Lyrical Lady, well truth be known, it's a pretty skookum pond and I can't see the Gulf Islands and the Big Smoke from here, but the Olympic Range looms large on clear days. |
