I was sober...

honest!!!

The story was, I was sat on the accordion case, and one friend and his son, were play scraping. I was in the way as they bowled me over - as a result me and the pile of instruments around me went scattering.

But... I was sober...

:)

Right, Fib, I've enrolled you in a kazoo class, and paid for you to join a spoons and bones workshop... cackle cackle cackle...

You may jest, Ella, but I'm auditioning for the kazoo ensemble on the BS:Kazoo thread!

Yes, the girl was sober. I can vouch for that! And so was I - hence the pictures aren't too blurry.

Wonderful pic's!!! I love the shot of the street entertainment. Not just the performer, but the bend in the street and the sun playing down..........great shot. Made me feel like I was there.

Thanks for the pictures.

All the best,

Mick

Great pics, Fib! Lovely to see you and Ella, and hope to meet up one day.

Love the street scene of a Sunday afternoon Listowel; I can really imagine being there again, with the smells and the sounds and all the people...

Thanks again.

Noreen

Sunday afternoon for some reason, seemed to be the buisiest, just aronud that corner the street (as wide as it is shown there) was completely jammed with people, you literally had to wade through everyone.

I pitied the poor parents who had taken their babes out in buggys, you just couldn't see them at floor level.

But it was such a hum - we had gorgeous weather all weekend, which was fantastic

I couldn't even remember that fella in the background, ooo must have been a good night, that session started off with about 6 accordions, and gradually through the small hours - whittled down a little, as people grew tired.

It was one of the MOST out of the way pubs we found, right on the square, one door leading down a long alley to a windowless backroom... FANTASTIC!

I can't even remember Fib taking the first session one with me and two friends... hmmmm undercover photographer fib
