although both eminem and posh have there own very unique way of producing music.. who do you prefer and why (and this thread is for eminem or posh only.. none of the old fogey folk music which is best left for the sad (billy no-mates) of the world).

Thanks Billy my mate! I hate to ruin my sad guy bit BTW, but I quite like the clips of Posh that I've heard - more the instrumental side than the vocals. Can't help feeling that it's not unique though.

It is true that the majority of male goats (in nature) have to suffer without female companionship, while the majority of male domesticated goats are slaughtered before puberty, leaving the odd survivor to screw himself silly between lengthy bouts of solitude in an isolated and filthy paddock.

This is indeed tragic.

Eminem and Posh can probably scrounge up barely as many brain cells between them as the average billy goat, and yet they have superior living quarters and a higher annual salary.

Unfair is what I call it. To the goats, I mean.

although i think that post is ok...kylie definately rules...and so say all of us. kylie has managed to keep posh off the top spot and im greatful for that. kylie sings songs that everyone can sing too (and the bonus of a very sexy body i might add!!!!). unfortunately folk music only caters for people over 60 who have very little rythem and have you ever seen a sexy folk singer...no...i thought so. fiddle dee fiddle dee dee

Having said that a twenty something at work loves it and says Kylie is a real favourite at the gay clubs he goes to
When I once asked him just what he liked about a Madonna track he said it was the music. When I replied that Madonna didn't supply the music on the track and that this was probably made by fat thirty something engineers in studios he looked puzzled. I am sure that Kylie makes all her own tunes on a mini studio in some hotel room, and then thinks about some inspirational lyrics while air brushing the wrinkles off of her latest publicity photos. Pete Waterman has a lot to answer for.....

I like both of them! I love Slim Shady/Eminem/Marshall Bruce Mathers III cos he's great for when I'm rebelling against my parents (I think that the best songs he's done are "Guilty Conscience" (with Dr. Dre) and "Stan" (with Dido)), but I like Victoria Beckham/Posh Spice for when I'm being silly (I'm "Not Such An Innocent Girl" either!) so I think that they're both great.

Mind you, if I had to go for just one of them, I'd go for the real Slim Shady!!

Nick Cave actually has some interesting (positive) things to say about Kylie Minogue on his excellent 'Secret Life of the Love Song/The Flesh Made Word' lecture/'spoken word'/music cd from a few years ago. I can't find a transcript of that part, and I honestly don't care enough about defending Ms.Minogue to transcribe it myself, but I do recommend the cd. :)
