This gives new meaning to the phrase "Blow Up Your Guitar"...

...And while we're at it, check out This Ukelele. Now all we need is a Banjo shaped like a chainsaw...

I can imagine some strange looks if you have to inflate it at a session. Then, some of the session I have been to have been pretty strange anyway!

Has Rick got one yet?...we have to know!

Perhaps we should all club together and commission a Catspaw model with scene of his memorable exploits?

Just add some drones and a mouthpiece and you can have bagpipes and guitar in one instrument. VERY useful at some sessions!

For years I've been telling the bass player he should bring the inflatable one. Then this summer Harvey Reid showed up at a party with an inflatable guitar. Might have been this one.

Ahhh; genius springs eternal where the fields are abandantly fertilized!

Crossing a banjo with a set of Grrrrrreeeat Hcheiland bahgpipes certainly has potential; blow that sucker up good'n tight, turn on the wee little valve, and let it play itself oot while we go refill the tankard.

Yo-Ho!!! Ie'll drrink tae thaht, meLaddies! }8^{D~

Yup, lets see the melodeon play try to match tempo as it exhales.
Lovely mental images LOL.

I've never seen an inflatable guitar before. However, I have seen a few guitarists. . . .

In his sermon last Sunday, Pastor "Ric" said something to the effect of "..This ain't no 'Blow-Up Jesus' we've got, here!". Fortunately, I wasn't the only one in the congregation who were cracked up by that image.

Imagine that: An inflatable guitar, "Domestic Partner", and Diety of your choice all neatly folded up within your average- sized suitcase - "Good to Go!" ! Now THAT's "traveling light"...

... Just don't forget the bloomin' pump, Mateys!

A Piper, we suppose, will do nearly as well; they've pretty good lungs, don't ye know. };>{)~

There was a great show at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston about a year ago called "Dangerous Curves: The art of the Guitar"; they had an inflatable guitar there, and were also selling them in the shop. I can't remember the price, but they were fairly expensive, as I recall. They had a sample one on display that you could play with---it was pretty strange!

I see the potential for some GREAT lines here, but attempting to be the gentleman that I would like to be I will not touch them with a ten foot drumstick!! Just wait till 'Spaw gets into this one!!
