OK I know this sounds "sad" but yesterday evening my sprog was watching Grange Hill and the plot revolved round someone's mum who was dying and at the end they played a folk song which had 2 lines "Among the fields of Barley, Among the fields of gold" I waited for the credits but there was no mention of who was singing or what the song was - Any ideas anyone?

Looks like the song in these threads:

Fields of Gold (the song's title)

Fields of Barley
(which includes this link).
