But it also may be a good idea to let them know (in thread name) about the Blue Ball not being on in case they don't look at this one. Not to mess up this discussion, engrossing as it is, but I'd like to share that I help run a open-mike night called the Black Cat Cafe in Orlando, Florida, that's be running for 8 years now. Nice to see the name is used on the other side of the pond as well.

Maybe we could be sister events, like they have sister cities.

I forgot to actually plug our Black Cat Cafe!

It's at the First Unitarian Church of Orlando, near downtown, on the 2nd Friday of every month (We love hitting all the Friday the 13ths, hence the name Black Cat Cafe. Open to all and it's smoke free and the beer & coffee are cheap.

Maybe won't see you at the Barton sing tonight, but the Black Cat is looking good for the 8th.

That's the Black Cat in Chesham, UK, not in Orlando. But it would be good to get over there one day to have a bit of a sing. My guess is that we've got Floridian weather o ver here at the moment anyway...it won't last!
