Subject: Photos of wedding-CarolC & JackTheSailor From: Ferrara Date: 13 Oct 02 - 03:22 PM Well am feeling very pleased with myself- I figured out how to do this (I think) with just one link. Once you get there, you can link to each photo in the set. Here they are-- In the picture of Carol's nieces, Katie, the bridesmaid girl on the left, is Celtic Soul's daughter. What a good time that wedding was. The ceremony was unique and meaningful. The minister, who is minister at Carol's dad's church, invited the people present to share their knowledge of Carol and Rob, or to ask them questions about the story of their relationship. It gave an extra warmth and depth to the ceremony. Carol looked beautiful, as you can see, and Rob looked great and was beaming. Both of their families are the most delightful people. It was easy to get acquainted and to feel part of it all, and people were very interesting to talk to. The food was great, the music was fun, watching Carol and Rob together was a treat. Hope the pictures give you at least a little feeling of "I was there too".... Rita ps Bill and I more or less took turns taking photos this time but shame on me, I never got a picture of Bill. |
Subject: RE: Photos of wedding-CarolC & JackTheSailor From: Ferrara Date: 13 Oct 02 - 03:27 PM ps Forgot to mention that Carol's son Ian came all the way from school in Utah for the wedding. Rob's family came from Ontario, if I'm not mistaken. Quite a nice gathering. |

Subject: RE: Photos of wedding-CarolC & JackTheSailor From: Ferrara Date: 13 Oct 02 - 10:13 PM You know, there was another very special set of wedding guests that I forgot to mention. At least one member of the Acoustic Guitar online group, Steve, came all the way from Louisiana for this event! His wedding gift to Rob (and Carol) was a Martin guitar that he built. Nice present huh? Just as nice, he brought them a wedding CD recording of members of the group, wonderfully produced with photos of all the artists. We heard a lot of it during the reception and it's good stuff. Talk about a wedding with lots of heart.... Special, special, special. Rita |
