Hi everyone, wanted to let people know about a concert on December 7, 2002 featuring The Cottars a hot band from Cape Breton. These four youngsters ( all under 16) are amazing. They are talented well beyond their years, vocals inGaleic, accomplished on fiddle, piano, bodhran tin whistle and guitar. This event is sponsered by Hisroric Deerfield and will be held at The White Church Community Center, Memorial Street, Deerfield. Absolutely Agree, Kelticgrasshopper - Not to be missed !

My group, Seisiún, had the pleasure of opening for them in concert earlier this year - So much talent in those so young !   

Fiona and Ciaran MacGillivray have a very accomplished Dad, by the way: Allister MacGillivray, who penned, among other tunes, "Song For The Mira".

Thanks, they are really delightful! I had the chance to meet them last summer and just had to have them come and give a concert. Fiona and Ciaran's Dad is guite an amazing songwriter. A really nice person as well!
