next saturday (19th) is my birthday!!! and I intend to maintain my tradition of having a barbie... (as opposed to having a baby which I did on my birthday one year when I fancied a change)

I know it was thoughtless and remiss of my parents to have me in the middle of the festival season but if there is anyone still in Hull this Saturday and not at Saddleworth or Stainsby come along...bring instruments and voices...I've invited Elton John...but if he comes I'll make sure he doesn't sing too often. Insight week in North Lincs means that several art galleries and studios are opening their doors to invite the great unwashed to drool over acrylic versions of the Crying Boy, or stallions riding through Tsunamis. The little band to which I provide scratchy violin noises is engaged during your BBQ. Have a great time and think abut me.

Aiken Drum is moored somewhere in the middle of nowhere South Shrops!
I am back in Hull for a few weeks taking it easy etc

Back near Chester in October I think..
