Now I know that you regliers will already know the answer to this but I, who are not very reglier, am finding that the Mudcat is not available on an increasingly frequent basis.

We getting hacked or something?

Yes, it seems so. Max is having trubbles. His company went bankrupt, he had a baby, he changed jobs, he moved house, he had a fire in the basement, he had an electrician in so his house could handle Mudcat, servers keep dying, etc. Don't send love, send money.

I've noticed the same thing too. Now I'm new to the Mudcat, but it seems strange to me that it's almost impossible to get the Cat to load before the afternoon Canadian time.

I don't think so, but we had temporarily reached anew high plateau of stability as a result of buying a new server after we built up some dough; then there was a move and a fire, as I recall, and we slipped back one.

Now, withthe COOK BOOK fast on its way to becoming a NY Times best-seller, we should find things improving. If you have a spare G lying about, by all means donate it and we'll get another new server or perhaps farm it out.

This is just how things seem to me and I'm not an insider. Actually, that's the funny thing. We're ALL outsiders and no-one's an insider!

Cookbook? What cookbook? The cookbooks are GONE, save for a few folks who haven't sent their cash in yet or it's somewhere in transit. I got a waiting list going... it won't hurt my feelings to whip up another batch, though, so keep the orders coming!

if there is a problem at particular times of day for a particular location it *may not* be the mudcat's fault. I personally haven't had a problem getting to mudcat in quite some time - though I admit I was out of town for both the last big "outages" - so they didn't effect me. However I *am* in and out of the mudcat 8 hours a day five days a weeks - and normally the only time I have problems contacting the cat are when I have problems with other sites as well.
