Subject: RE: BS: nd your choice would be ???? From: Peace Date: 19 Dec 03 - 02:25 AM Recently, "Red Rabbit" by TC. "Congo Song" by I don't know who--read it over 20 years ago. Any Harlequin romance. A few 'religious' works I won't name. "King Lear" by WS--(I know, I know!). "Gone With the Wind" and anything by the Brontes. Signed: Arfen Upducker |
Subject: RE: BS: nd your choice would be ???? From: Cluin Date: 20 Dec 03 - 12:16 AM Our daily paper, The Sault Star. Worst rag in the history of journalism: screwed up facts, lousy editing, typos and spelling mistakes, misspelled names, stories cut off mid-sentence because the required space in the column was filled, printer misalignments and dropped colours on the colour pictures galore... |

Subject: RE: BS: nd your choice would be ???? From: Peace Date: 21 Dec 03 - 04:16 PM EP: You are a vegan. Wanna eat them? I'm kidding. They are too much for me--however, I know they are great books. I simply mean I will never again read any of them, again. |
Subject: RE: BS: and your choice would be ???? From: Ethereal Purple Date: 22 Dec 03 - 06:37 AM I don't think I'll ever stop reading them! Especially GWTW. Please tell me you like the movie at least? And right now I'm in love with the Brontes' poetry.... brilliant stuff! |
Subject: RE: BS: and your choice would be ???? From: radriano Date: 22 Dec 03 - 01:25 PM Just out of curiosity - and I've seen this in a number of places - what does four question marks signify? Why does one ever need more that one question mark or exclamation point? |
Subject: RE: BS: and your choice would be ???? From: Ethereal Purple Date: 23 Dec 03 - 06:06 AM I don't know about here... but normally the number of question marks/exclamation marks I use kind of shows the tone in which I'd ask the question/state the statement :-). Like 'what?' and 'what???' are obviously different! |
Subject: RE: BS: and your choice would be ???? From: Peace Date: 23 Dec 03 - 06:13 PM EP, OK, the movie was OK. I gotta ask: Did you like "The Horse Whisperer"? I'm betting with myself you say yes. I wanted to sleep instead of watch. I guess watching Redford is feast or famine for me. "A River Runs Through It" did the same. But, in that one I did fall asleep. |
Subject: RE: BS: and your choice would be ???? From: Ethereal Purple Date: 24 Dec 03 - 04:47 AM Haven't seen 'A River Runs Through it'... but you're right - I loved 'The Horse Whisperer'. Difference in our tastes I guess. What do you like then? You don't seem to like anything *good*. :-) |
