Subject: BS: political cycle journey from Europe From: Clean Supper Date: 09 Jan 04 - 07:23 AM I posted a similar message once before but I´m just going to put it up now and then to see if anyone is intewrested and looking. Two of us, so far, are going to do a cycle journey from Austria to Palestine, talking to people about peace. We´re going to look at it from the very lowest level - i.e. what it is and whether it is achievable and we want to record people´s thoughts on tape and make a book and CD at the end. We plan to leave Vienna in May 2004 so if you´re interested in coming along, let us know. There is a website about it: http://www.collectingwords.0catch.com reply or PM for more info |

There are some cyclists at Mudcat, so news of this would be welcome, IMO. Hope you journal it all, as well. ~Susan |
Subject: RE: BS: political cycle journey from Europe From: GUEST Date: 09 Jan 04 - 03:33 PM CS, I am a cyclist living in Israel. Some of us here wanted to do a ride for peace, meeting up with others coming through Jordan. The idea was torpedoed, I believe, by the Jordanians, so it never came about. I believe I can get some Israeli Peace activist cyclists involved, if you keep us informed of your schedule and progress. I do hope you intend to visit Israel also , not just Palestine. PM me we'll see what we can work out. Jack The Lad |
