Who is/was she ? you may ask, this Katie Boyle (Born Katerina Imperiali di Francabilla) - International presenter who graced several Eurovision Song Contests and some editions of It's a Knockout, putting her multilingual skills to full use. Born into an aristocratic Italian family, Boyle nevertheless has always seemed eminently English. A former Vogue fashion model, she was a familiar face on 1950s and 1960s panel games and variety shows (like Quite Contrary and Juke Box Jury) and has written an agony aunt column for TV Times.

My god ... I thought Winifred Attwell was the Prime Minister. That piccie does not do Katie justice. My dad used to make a low rumbling noise whenever he saw her on the telly. Re. the Oxo ads; was it her or Patricia Driscoll (had a husband named Philip?)
