Subject: Photos from Burns Supper From: Rex Date: 12 Mar 04 - 11:50 AM OK, I still need to get the wording right or no one would ever see the hard work that Pene did building these web pages. Our Pene Azul did a fine job of putting some pages together for Sweet Fanny Adams Irish Pub. If you look in the events section of tbe photos, you find a couple of pages for the pub in general and a page for the Burns Supper that was held there in January. Now maybe that will get some of you to check it out. Rex |
Subject: RE: Photos from Burns Supper From: GUEST,MMario Date: 12 Mar 04 - 12:05 PM loverly pix! I find it interesting that recipes for haggis in late 15th and early 16th century cookbooks are mostly vegetarian aside from using mutton broth - those that do include meat use liver, regular mutton or beef - rather then such things as lung used in todays recipes. |
