(I'm A Coookie) From: Art & Carol & Chris Thieme Date: 09 Oct 98 - 06:38 PM LARRY PENN, Old friend, former over the road steel hauler trucker (now retired), songwriter/folksinger extraordinaire, lover of well cooked flamingos, master of hobo and Milwaukee Road train lore and COMPOSER OF the grand and sensitive song, "I'M A LITTLE COOKIE", just had heart surgery (a bypass) and is now at home in Milwaukee with his wife Pat. I talked to Larry this morning and he is doing great!! All of us that love the man and his music send Larry our best wishes for a speedy recovery!! |
