Subject: RE: BS: curcumscribed Pinnice envy From: Bill D Date: 16 Jun 04 - 12:13 PM it's enough to make me resort to public gesticulation.... (and I just remembered a cartoon from 15-20 years ago...drawn by Ned Riddle, a former Dallas Morning News artist who died last Oct. 14 from complications of a stroke, at 81. Mr Tweedy was this shy, gentle fellow who was always into low-key situations, so I was surprised to see one day a cartoon of him standing beside his car, being confronted by a BIG truck driver who had evidently been involved in a fender-bender traffic incident with Tweedy. On the truck is painted "Mother's Pies"...he is holding Tweedy by the shirt front, as Tweedy explains.."All I said was, 'You Mother Truckers should be more careful'" |
