There's a chance I might go to Hull (in the UK) someday and I would not want to without knowing where the rubbish is first...so does anybody know?

You've had two responses suggesting the obvious, and an insinuatingly derogatory one.

Slightly odd reasons to 'love' mudcat, I'd have thought...

Last time I went there, I took a cab from the train station, all the cabs were Lada's, a vile Russian junk pile, one of the worst cars on the face of the planet, rubbish on wheels, so I suggest the cab rank to start with.

"Recycling---Hull residents produce 125,000 tonnes of rubbish every year. About 10% of this rubbish is currently recycled"

...so THAT explains where it is coming from! *wicked grin*

It also has Beacon City Status in the quality of its Roulette and Pontoon facilities. Imagine Las Vegas without electricity in the pouring rain and you'll get the picture. A wonderful place. LH - have you firmed-up your arrangements?
