Subject: BS: Boston Massacre From: Bev and Jerry Date: 25 Jul 04 - 08:44 PM With all of the security and military presence surrounding the Democratic convention, what are the chances of a repeat of the Boston Massacre? Bev and Jerry |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Peace Date: 25 Jul 04 - 08:53 PM Very little. Where will the British troops come from? |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Blackcatter Date: 25 Jul 04 - 09:06 PM Why attack there? Do you know just how ripe for the picking Disneyland is? Want to stike terror into the minds of Americans, blow up the Mouse House with C4 in diaper bags. |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Rapparee Date: 25 Jul 04 - 09:51 PM No snow to make snowballs with. I don't think so. I don't think there'll even be a repeat of Chicago '68. |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Big Al Whittle Date: 25 Jul 04 - 11:27 PM no discontented mobs nowadays - we're all too busy at home writing snotty e-mails about our political enemies. some sort of progress I guess..... |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Rabbi-Sol Date: 25 Jul 04 - 11:37 PM If there is any repeat of Chicago 1968 it will be in NYC at the Republican Convention, not in Boston. It is Bush that the people are angry at, not Kerry. If you remember correctly, the Democrats were the incumbent party in 1968. They were the ones who were blamed for getting us into Viet Nam. Now it is the Republicans who are the incumbents and are to blame for getting us into Iraq. SOL ZELLER |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Bev and Jerry Date: 26 Jul 04 - 12:09 AM Remember, the Boston Massacre apparently started accidentally. Bev and Jerry |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Peace Date: 26 Jul 04 - 12:15 AM Question: Would there be a Tea Party afterwards? |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Blackcatter Date: 26 Jul 04 - 12:16 AM Come on Brucie - aren't you more of a coffee kind of guy? |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Peace Date: 26 Jul 04 - 12:30 AM That's true. But only about twenty cups a day. I've cut down, and I replace the other ten with tea. However, this administration will respond very violently to anything at their convention. It doesn't respect its own Constitution. It sure as hell has no respect for the American people. If there is any action there, it will make the police riot in Chicago look like a pretty tame affair. IMO. |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Seamus Kennedy Date: 26 Jul 04 - 01:42 AM The Boston Massacre has occurred; Red Sox - 9, Yankees - 6. Seamus |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Peace Date: 26 Jul 04 - 02:18 AM LOL |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: Hrothgar Date: 26 Jul 04 - 06:42 AM What would happen to John Adams in this day and age if he defended the British troops (or their equivalent)? |
Subject: RE: BS: Boston Massacre From: sledge Date: 26 Jul 04 - 06:55 AM I imagine he would do quite well out of it, laywers usually do. Look at the circus that surrounded the OJ trial, Johnny Cochrane is quite far from the poverty line I guess. |
