I have had a very hard time finding trousers that fit properly in the crucial groin area. They are all too small. I did find a place that sells medieval style clothing with those tights that have the codpiece like in Romeo and Juliette's time and those are supercool, but none of them have a large enough codpiece for my figure. I am getting desperate here. I had myself measured and it seems that a size 38 codpiece would work, theoretically, but I have not been able to find tights that go bigger than size 28 in the codpiece. I found a suit of armour that's a 31. Still not enough. What should I do? Any help will be appreciated.

When I wanted a codpiece for a renaissance costume I made my own I started with a plastic 2 liter pop bottle and cut it down to suit.

Perhaps this is a commission MMario could take on--crochet one for the fellow! Walk into the large women's department in some store and buy a large leotard legging thing, then stitch the crocheted groin piece in. My computer is running really slow tonight, but here is a place to start your search. Maybe.

I was able to wear them as long as the weather was cold, Georgiansilver, but here in the south when it is warm, well......they were a little like a very small no-frills mansion.............ok, but no ballroom
