After all the bad news we have some good news.

We're getting married in Connecticut on 13th October, on our way to the Getaway. Sandy Paton will be performimg the ceremony and we will be celebrating our marriage at the Getaway at some point.

If you're going to the Getaway we would love to have you share the celebration with us.

Mudcat marriages can be a very good thing. I know whereof I speak. We probably won't be at the Getaway this year, but since we had our honeymoon at the Getaway (our Gettymoon, as Rita called it), I can tell you one thing for sure. GET A HOTEL ROOM. Or have Charley Baum set you up in a nice private room far away from everyone else there at Ramblewood. (We did a little of both.)

Seamus is rather jealous at the moment but is gradually coming to terms with the interloper. I think he's getting to realise that another 'mug' around to make a fuss of him and go for walks isn't altogether a bad thing. I've already been given the message for walks when he brings his leash or my shoe and drops it in my lap!
