Dani has given permission to let you know that her mother, Patricia, died today. She had been ill for a very long time. All of her children were able to make it here to be with her and one another as she gently passed on to her next great adventure. Dani and her family will appreciate your good thoughts, prayers and well wishes for Patricia and for them.

Patricia, enjoy this next great adventure you have begun, and thank you so much for bringing your wonderful daughters, especially my heart-sister Dani, into the world.

I have often said that I can tell much about a person by the children they raise. Patricia, you must have been a special person, because you have given us one of the finest women I have ever met in your daughter Dani. Children, for good or bad, carry the diagram for life given them by their parents. Rest easy, good sister, because you did your job well. Your voice will be heard.

We are holding you and your family in our thoughts and hearts, Dani. It is not an easy thing when a mother passes, even when expected. Memories, esp. of the little things which catch your breath when they come, help, as does the love of family and friends.

You are in my thoughts and in my heart during this difficult time. As someone already said, you can know the mother through the daughter. Your mother must have been a very special person.
