Well, I just got a call from my old pal, Alfred E. Newman, and he is plenty mad! Seems that some folks think that Alfred looks like Bush. Well, this has Alfred steamed and he just wanted me to pass on to anyone out there who thinks Bush looks like Alfred to get a life!

the OLD Mad mags? The small, comic book size? Those are a bit more than 40 years old! I loaned some out when I was 11-12, and that was 53 years ago. I never got them back, either....*grump* Me and Alfred E. Neuman grew up together...

Recently I picked up a MAD Magazine at the library. It hasn't changed an iota in 40-50 years.

I believe the guys at MAD are the precursors of the graffiti-producing youth who deface surfaces worldwide with totally copycat "art". (I'm assuming worldwide. So far I've seen exactly the same stuff from California to Budapest.) Jeesh, if they have to be rebellious, can't they at least be original?
