Just came across this, just put pat cooksey in Google and it's at
the top. Nice site with some interesting lyrics with background,
including his classics The Sick Note, and The Reason I left Mullingar, with downloads.
I last heard Pat in Ireland two years ago, would be nice to hear
him again.

A pity that Pat, who is one of the greatest singers, let alone
songwriters, I ever heard. should be ignored in England, whilst
being so popular in Bavaria and Austria.
I have heard Pat's songs so many times in London, from singers
who have no idea who's songs they are singing.

Thanks for the kind words, the site is not finished yet, next week I think, as for playing in the U.K. I don't have contacts there any more, but maybe I'll try and put a few gigs together next year.
