My kid just told me the old elementary school joke that goes:

Q: Why is 6 scared

A: Because 7 8 9.

It got me to thinking... Isn't 6 being paranoid? I mean, shouldn't the normal reaction be one of relief in the realization that at least 7 is moving away from, not towards him?

Isn't it 10 who should be afraid?

Who's to say that 7 didn't 8 9 after mating with 9? That happens with insects. And if that's the case, what do you suppose will be the offspring of the mating? Will it be 16, 63, or 79?
