Subject: RE: BS: it From: Amos Date: 06 Mar 05 - 06:59 PM I think this is what they call idiocy, IIRC. |
Subject: RE: BS: it From: Mingulay Date: 06 Mar 05 - 07:08 PM Skipy, you will always be IT. Due to your forays into transgenderisation (?), your fondness of singing in toilets and your consumption of alcoholic beverages of dubious pedigree and age you could not be anything else but an IT. |

Skipy, the rules may be the same the world over but the words and names used vary incredibly...an interesting and erudite study in fact. (See Amos!) But shouldn't we 'dip' to see who's it? Subject: RE: BS: it From: Liz the Squeak Date: 07 Mar 05 - 03:12 AM Veinies or veinites is the act of crossing ones fingers before you get tagged.. it's like an escape button for those times when you need to get out of the game, usually when you're in the toilet and a hand reaches under to tag you! Off ground touch was a favourite in our school, we had a huge climbing frame (in a concrete playground) and 'the dip' which was an undeveloped area where there was a tree, shrubs and lots of long grass and muddy slopes to play in. Both have now been prettified or removed on grounds of safety. The only accident I recall happening at my school was a broken leg when a girl jumped off a stage block in a perfectly safe and adequately monitored assembly hall! LTS |
