Easy, Martin:

Isn't defending Marxism in america Anti-social behavior? EG: No

Isn't ridiculing Jews anti-social behavior? EG: Yes

Isn't ridiculing religion anti-social behavior? EG: Yes

Isn't sponging off the government anti-social behavior? EG: Yes

Isn't spreading AIDS through homosexual contact anti-social behavior? EG: yes, just as it is spreading AIDS through heterosexual contact.

Isn't ridiculing people with faith anti-social behavior? EG: Yes

Isn't censorship itself anti-social behavior? EG: Not per se; perhaps in some circumstances, but I can't think of any.

Isn't not showing respect for a president anti-social behavior? EG: No - respect is earned by behaviour and deeds only

Isn't using drugs and boasting about it anti-social behavior? EG: I'll sit on the fence onthis one; probably yes

Isn't getting drunk and boasting about it anti-social behavior? EG: Getting drunk, yes; boasting about it is just stupid

Isn't being a lying Mudcat Clone anti-social behavior? EG: If they're lying, yes

Do I pass?

You lost me on one single point, El Greko; I find it very easy to think of possible instances of censorship as anti-social behaviour; censorship can be directed against worthless cultural garbage, or censorship can be the suppression of essential facts or ideas that threaten the powers that be.

Not really. You got some right, but others are definately anti-social in my book.

you see, this is the double standard here. All of these anti-social things happen daily here, but slide through as Ha Ha.

Once was a time the Office of the President was respected because that person was elected by a majority of voters. Not any longer.

Using illegal drugs will get you a fine and prison time or both. Seems to me that is anti-social behavior.

ridiculing of Jews and Christians is a daily practice here. This is quite anti-social.

Ridiculing and censoring people who don't have the same political thoughts and tell people so with impact just hear what they want to hear which makes them, in my book, anti-social.

Easy Martin?

Censoring me is not easy.

Defending Marxism is not. It is free speech, which is one of the basfoundation basis against Marxism, albeit arguably false. The rest are. Although, the way you worded some of these, to answer negatively might be misconstrued.

Isn't defending Marxism in america Anti-social behavior? Only to paranoid rednecks.

Isn't ridiculing Jews anti-social behavior? Not if you're Woody Allen. It's a living.

Isn't ridiculing religion anti-social behavior? Hmmm, the idea of God with no sense of humour has never really held water for me. After all, He created things like the duck-billed platypus, the star-nosed mole and willies to name but a few. Surely he can take a joke too.

Isn't sponging off the government anti-social behavior? Depends on how you mean. If you're able to work and are turning down offers of work left right and centre, yes. If you can't work, it seems preferable to starving. Oh and incidentally government funds are public funds. Yes, that's right. Public. To be spent (in an ideal world) for the publics benefit.

Isn't spreading AIDS through homosexual contact anti-social behavior? Where contraception is available, yes. EG already made the point about heterosexually transmitted HIV being wrong.

Isn't ridiculing people with faith anti-social behavior? A personal attack on someone who holds religious beliefs is wrong. So is forcing your beliefs down other people's throats and resorting to investive and threats when they object. Cuts both ways, in other words.

Isn't censorship itself anti-social behavior? Actually I tend to agree with you on this one. But then again, anti-social behaviour breeds anti-social behaviour, y'know.

Isn't not showing respect for a president anti-social behavior? I was always taught respect was something you earn. The gibbering cretin currently occupying the Whitehouse has done precisely fuck all to earn anyone's respect. I could pursue this, but pick up a newspaper and turn to the international pages. It'll save time.

Isn't using drugs and boasting about it anti-social behavior? No. Merely tedious and anyway who says you have to listen?

Isn't getting drunk and boasting about it anti-social behavior? See above.

Isn't being a lying Mudcat Clone anti-social behavior? Yes. Remove the telling word 'lying' though and no, it isn't.

Just my two ha'porth!

Too true- the U.S. president IS no longer elected by a majority of the voters. In point of fact, the current one was appointed by the Supreme Court.

First time Marty the Putzeleh has been correct in my memory- but then again, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Martin - I'm glad that you are trying to find out what antisocial behavior is. Somehow that part of your education is lacking.

You've laughed at my sons death. You've made jokes about a man in a wheelchair. You've wished that we could all see our children dead. Somehow I guess that falls under your definition of "free speech". So be it. I'm through hating you. You're a master of hate and none of us can beat you at your game. You win. Be proud. God loves you. I'm working on it too but failing.

May all of God richest blessings be on you and your children seven times over.

Man, geeze o'pete, when I opened this thread I was amazed to find it was started by the Catbox resident anti-social-ist (but not Marxist...).

Yeah, I took Martin's test and maybe got a D... or worse...

Who cares?

It's all definations and semantics...

I mean Martin can talk about "welfare" and in Martin's world that means black women driving up to the Social Service Departrment in their Cadillac to pick up a fat check for pumping out babies once like factories... Yeah that is Martin's world. In Bobert's world it's Boss Hog and the corporate fat cats who are ripping off the middle class...

And in Martin's world when he thinks of Jew hating that means anyone who would like the Palestians getting a fair break... But in Martin's world all he see's if the Palestian suicide bombers but not Isreali tanks and bulldozers crashing thru homes of Palestianians to make way for more Isrealu settlements...

As fir Marxism being anti-social? No, it is very much social becasue it empowers the 98% of the folks who ain't on Boss Hog's Xmas card list...

Now, lastly, as this thread was started by Mar-fu*k-you-tin his Mar-fu*k-you-tin-self I'd just say this....

...I rest my case.

Bobert

Sometimes it is, and sometimes it's not. But making up stories and lying about people living off of government assistance when they are not is always anti-social behavior. As well as being gratuitous abuse.

No, Yes, Maybe, Yes, Yes, Yes, Not Necessarily, Hard To Say, Yes, Yes, Ummmm....well, I'm not quite sure about the last one...but lying is generally considered antisocial.

Regarding the first one, I would prefer a society that combined the best aspects of both socialism (or Marxism) AND capitalism, given the choice. That would make supporting neither one of them "antisocial". A society that is all one...or all the other...is kind of like a society that's all male or all female. It doesn't work all that well in practice.

I am living in a society that practices both socialism and capitalism, and it's really quite nice.

Martin, there are all kinds of anti-social behavior. That's not the point. Most people say offensive things from time to time - but most of the time, they get along with other people peaceably. You're just the opposite. I think you posted 25 messages yesterday, and twenty of them were combative in one way or another. When you're here, you're here for combat. It makes the place unpleasant for all of us, and we're not going to tolerate that any more.

I suppose I'll have to delete most of your messages at the end of the day today. You can expect me to do it every day until you stop attacking people.

This was not meant to be a test and I really don't care if you answered it or not. It was meant as nothing more than an opinion.

Wesley S. I did not laugh at your son's death. I don't know you and really don't care to. Your dirty laundry is really not my concern. There are a lot of tragic stories here and I thankfully do not feel that I am one of them.

For all I know, you and your wife are heroin addicts and you live with enormous guilt. Welcome to the Mudcat funny farm full of the dregs of liberal society. Druggies, social misfits, drunks, basket cases, drop-outs, and a lot of musical wannabes.

If that truth hurts, oh well. This is not directed at all here. Just the usual group. I'm sorry if I'm just to much for you to deal with. Please deal with the fact that I am in fine health, do not use illegal or prescribed drugs, have a great family, home, and fine job.

What I object to "Martin", as I have said all along to you, is your primitive envy and thus your need to destroy that which you most desire: entry into the group of mudcatters who are the most identified with what you desire to be and to have. This has been the basis for your online actions here all along.

If I were Max, I'd simply cut you out of the sight completely. And I would do it until you learned a great deal more about prosocial behavior and demonstrated it. Claiming that some mudcatters write you friendly email only means to me that you have made a fool out of them because they believe you are who you claim to be.

You, yourself have said that you don't know Wesley. And you really don't know anything about him. And yet you are insinuating that he and his wife are heroin addicts. With no reason to even suspect this as a possiblity, even the act of mentioning it as a possibility is abusive. And that's what you do. You make up a bunch of incredibly libelous lies about people and spread them around as the truth. Then you use those lies as a way of justifying your behavior here. But they're still lies.
