Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Clinton Hammond Date: 12 Apr 05 - 12:40 PM I have to say, the bloom really fell off the rose for me over the last couple of seasons... Season 1 and 2 were hillarious... seasons 3 and 4... fneeah... It was cool to see Ellen Page move from TPB to ReGenesis... |
Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Steve Latimer Date: 12 Apr 05 - 05:12 PM Well, I can't wait for season five. I enjoyed Season three, especially the Alex Lifeson episode. I thought that season four started slowly, but got better. I still think it's the funniest thing that I have seen on television in ages. |
Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Clinton Hammond Date: 12 Apr 05 - 05:18 PM "it's the funniest thing that I have seen on television in ages" See, for that I'm watching 'Corner Gas' thses days... that show has yet to let me down :-) |
Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Steve Latimer Date: 12 Apr 05 - 07:13 PM Clinton, I've tried to get into Corner Gas a few times. I have heard people say great things about it. I just haven't found it that funny. Then again, I was years behind finding Seinfeld and The Simpsons funny. But the Boys crack me up. I think what I find great about it is that I have known each and every one of those guys in real life. Lahey is the best Barney Fife since well, Barney Fife. |
Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Clinton Hammond Date: 12 Apr 05 - 07:30 PM I still don't find Seinfeld funny at all... I hope I never do... And well, I'da been happier if The Simpsons hadda stopped and gone away 5 years ago... If ya like TPB, see if you can find the 'Mocumentary' "Fubar"... same sorta really funny stuff :-) |
Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Steve Latimer Date: 12 Apr 05 - 07:47 PM Clinton, A few people have mentioned FUBAR to me. I'll have to check it out. While on Canadian stuff, did you ever see Roadkill? Tied to the music industry, a Faustian theme. I really enjoyed it. |
Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Raptor Date: 12 Apr 05 - 10:24 PM It's still a great show. Raptor |

Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Clinton Hammond Date: 13 Apr 05 - 09:07 PM They already MADE a 'movie' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383678/ |
Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: Steve Latimer Date: 14 Apr 05 - 07:21 AM I've seen the Movie (I'm addicted). The new one is going to be Hollywood, the guy who did Ghostbusters is involved. I'm worried that they will ruin it. Part of what I love about it is that it has maintained it's low budget feel. Hollywood can ruin that quickly. |
Subject: RE: BS: Trailor Park Boys From: TS Date: 14 Apr 05 - 11:35 AM Corner Gas will begin filming for next season in early May in Rollo ("Dog River") Saskatchewan...home of "The World's Biggest Dirty Hoe"..hehe.. |
