Is there anything more comforting than a jar of mayo and a loaf of Wonder Bread with red yellow and blue balloons printed on the wrapper. Helps build strong bodies (and wide hips) twelve ways!

I was in Nocuous once. It was in the Tampa Bay area if I remember correctly, but I'm not 100% sure. I forgot I had been there just as soon as I left. Had to be the most bland, boring town in the country. Nothing special about it at all. Just a big strip mall.

Innocuous is improbable round here, and far too hard to spell.
I've never had Wonder bread, but the first law of names* says it will be far from wonderful.

Innocuous bliss: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on white bread (can even been Wonder Bread.) Same with grilled cheese sandwiches made with processed American cheese and white bread.) The white bread has to be so air-filled that you can compress a whole slice into a small ball.

Here's a challenge for you. Start a thread in the BS section that is so boring NO ONE else will post to it. I'll bet you can't do it.

It would be too easy in the Music section. Just ask for the lyrics of some currently popular pop (non-folk) song. But please don't do that.

did you ever do the cockroach test? Put a slice of **Wonder Bread** and a slice of good, whole-grain bread in a dark cupboard where roaches are known to hang out....wait an hour, then pop the door open and note how the tiny little critters know enough to eat the good stuff! Yeah, they'll eat wallpaper paste if they have to, but they KNOW!

Peanut butter & jelly on bleached white bread is a 'treat' I have not had for ....ummmm...40+years now. (I dunno...maybe the last time I had a Budweiser beer)

Maybe I'll have to mail you a PB & J sandwich. When I was a ravenous teenager, I'd eat anything I could chew and swallow, and when we ran out of jelly, I made peanut butter and Miracle Whip sandwiches. Not getting all nostalgic about that...
