In the subject lines, with the closer font, it looks to me like a mouse sunbathing - viewed from the head end. arms outstretched, little mouse ears either side, and a pointy nose sticking straight up.

But in the Subject line in the Reply to Thread box it doesn't look like that at all. It kind of looks like an owl in flight coming straight for us.

If you use microsoft Word, there is an 'Insert' to click on, which then lets you click on 'Symbol', and lots of letters appear with lots of different accents already on them as well as Greek and Russian letters. when you have composed your message using these you can paste it into the message for posting on mudcat. There may be an easier way, but that's the one I've discovered.

If you use Windows, go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map.

That will give you the Alt codes for any of the extended character set for the font in question.
