Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: lady penelope Date: 11 Oct 05 - 06:20 PM I don't want to alarm anyone, but a friend of ours (those that came to the wedding party might remember him) Twoflower, was seen asking Jack if he minded taking Twoflower's Luggage through customs for him. Twoflower dissappeared from home three days ago and we've become quite concerned that he may have fallen in with some 'bad types'. Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: lady penelope Date: 12 Oct 05 - 05:23 PM Well, Interpol turned up on the doorstep this evening. Apparently Twoflower is supposed to be helping them with a sting operation in return for the dropping of certain charges that they wouldn't tell us about. Interpol reckons that they are very close to breaking a ring of banjo and kapoc smugglers. They are working on a tip off that a major delivery is starting out from Heathrow, tomorrow. Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: lady penelope Date: 15 Oct 05 - 05:25 PM Well, Twoflower turned up on the doorstep this morning, looking very much the worse for ware. He refused to tell us what happened and meerly muttered a half hearted curse against Customs & Excise Officers. He then hid in the garden hut and refused to come out, saying it wasn't safe. This makes me wonder if Jack has got 'associates'....... maybe he's forcing Taff to do his dirty work, whilst he's out of the country........ |

Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: MMario Date: 19 Oct 05 - 04:45 PM The crate marked 'Quarentine Immediately' may be the best bet. |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Catherine Jayne Date: 19 Oct 05 - 04:48 PM I agree although we may have to drug him first to get him in the crate!!! |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: jacqui.c Date: 19 Oct 05 - 04:51 PM I want to see what happens when he meets one of Sinsull's other cats - Ed. This is the king-pin of the household, or so he thinks, and he doesn't take kindly to interlopers, so if you read reports of a major domestic disturbance in the South Portland area you know what's happening. That dog could be the cause of a real break in UK/USA relations. |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: GUEST,Henry Date: 19 Oct 05 - 07:39 PM Henry here. Jack got busted on a Drunk and Disorderly at one of the local bars, but I managed to intervene before they booked him or took a mugshot. CatsPHiddle will not have to curb her retail thereapy as much as she originally feared. She owes ranger1 a pint at the local now, though. |

Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: jacqui.c Date: 20 Oct 05 - 10:43 PM Well, he nearly met his doom tonight when Seamus found him and tried to carry him off. For some reason all of his detractors present at the time made valiant attempts to rescue him so any further misbeaviour is on their heads. Seamus would have been delighted to have brought him home and kept him as a toyboy - I've had my doubts about that dog for a while now! |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: jacqui.c Date: 21 Oct 05 - 06:46 PM The crew has now taken off for the Press Room session today and Jack has gone with them. I did warn them to try and keep him away from the local 'ladies' at the sleazier end of the bar. Some of those bitches would do anything to snag the likes of Jack. I'm thinking in particular of Jolene, who will chase anything in trousers, or without, she really isn't fussy! I'm not sure that poor Jack would know what he was letting himself in for....... |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Morticia Date: 21 Oct 05 - 06:55 PM Poor Jack, my tired backside.....he will know exactly what he is doing and, if it's Jolene, I hope she gets an address.....an accurate one, I mean. |

Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Dani Date: 21 Oct 05 - 11:28 PM You know, of course, the story of the bear who sat at the bar and barked for a beer? The bartender said, "We don't serve beer to bears." The bear pounded on the bar and DEMANDED to be served. The bartender said, "We DON'T serve beer to bears at this BAR!" The bear roared his disapproval, and to frighten the bartender into submission, reached over to a woman sitting at the end of the bar, ripped her to pieces and ate her ALL UP. The bartender said, "We DON'T serve beer to bears on DRUGS." That slowed the bear down. "WHAT?!" "That was a bar-bitch-you-ate." Dani |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: jacqui.c Date: 22 Oct 05 - 07:53 AM I KNEW it! I knew that Jolene would snag him! That bitch is a walking black hole for unsuspecting males. She's been wanting to goet out of town for a long long time and I know she got her rabies shots when she knew Jack was going to be in the Press Room. Believe me, this is one conniving piece of work! I think that Jack should have been left chez Morse last night - he got on so well with Seamus the night before and he would have been free of encumbrances today. Now we'll have to put up with Jolene's antics at the song circle tonight. (Thinks - maybe we can get Seamus to carry her off before it really is too late. He's immune to her charms - if a llama can't reel him in there's no chance for Jolene.) |

Just for a while? Even if he does return to his native home, I expect he won't manage to appear at the Bedworth MudGather. 'Spect he's too scared of the Inflatable MadCat!! |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: jacqui.c Date: 23 Oct 05 - 09:00 AM Seamus did try to retian him here but the UK contingent put a stop to that. Jolene is all fired anxious to make it back across the pond - she reckons there's a better life over there, no dog catchers and free medical treatment from the RSPCA, so I think that there's very little chance that the boy will be able to stay over here. |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Col K Date: 24 Oct 05 - 02:51 PM Jack and his new ladyfriend (trailor trash ) Jolene left here last night to travel with friends to New Hampshire. They never stopped during the song circle, eventually Sinsull had to throw a bucket of water over them so that she could get some sleep. Life here is so peaceful now. Col |

Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Tinker Date: 05 Nov 05 - 07:14 AM Ah Giok next trip over you'll have to meet my one hundred pound, six foot plus when stretched, indeterminate- breed, monster-footed scaredy cat of a dog. Then you'll understand. The name fits him perfectly. Now when we're angry it occaisionally expands to Bundesbank, but that's another story. tinker By the way he only seems to answer to female alphas. Ask Khatt. |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Liz the Squeak Date: 06 Nov 05 - 06:59 AM Ah, perhaps that explains why Khatt is presently barking like a dog and her nose is wet and cold.... LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Catherine Jayne Date: 06 Nov 05 - 08:22 AM Indeed that could have something to do with it Liz. Well Jack, Jolene, Jacklene and Joe have left the Patterson abode (thank all the deities!) an have once more set off on their travels...where I have no idea...no doubt we should hear from them at some point. That puppy has a habbit of coming back! |
Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Liz the Squeak Date: 20 Nov 05 - 04:33 PM I am sorry to report that he has indeed come back. Manitas, Limpit and I have just returned from a quick trip to the European continent, for a birthday party. We had a walk around Calais this afternoon, and to our horror, were recognised by the puppy, just near the lighthouse. It seems he and Jolene ran out of money whilst on a bender in the Cafe du Paris and he was trying his hand at busking to try and raise the Euros. Needless to say he was failing miserably and Jolene was having similar luck selling "favours" on the Rue Royale.... We took pity on them and smuggled them back over the channel, disguised as a pair of novelty slippers and they are presently in our spare room "recovering" as Jack put it. They will be returned to the appropriate domicile (I'm not telling which one, in case you try and move house) just as soon as they've been reunited with the puppies, which I understand were hired out to a Central London toy store, with the instructions to 'look cute and do back flips' in exchange for food. I daresay that he'll post some more pictures when he can... LTS |

Subject: RE: BS: Mudcat Jack goes travelling From: Liz the Squeak Date: 27 Nov 05 - 06:29 AM What does your daddy look like Jackson? (I'm sure your mummy would like to know.....) Jolenes' puppies are Joe and Jacklene, and they're both here with me now, having done their final stint in Hamleys demonstrating backflips yesterday. I regret to say that they did not leave with the best of references, and much of their wages has been kept back to pay for the doctors bills and the repairs. LTS |
