Just read the following on the B.B.C. Georgie boy has proven he is a crackpot. We all knew it anyway, who else would rub shoulders and trust Tony Blair.

President George W Bush told Palestinian ministers that God had told him to invade Afghanistan and Iraq - and create a Palestinian State, a new BBC series reveals.



In Elusive Peace: Israel and the Arabs, a major three-part series on BBC TWO (at 9.00pm on Monday 10, Monday 17 and Monday 24 October), Abu Mazen, Palestinian Prime Minister, and Nabil Shaath, his Foreign Minister, describe their first meeting with President Bush in June 2003.



Nabil Shaath says: "President Bush said to all of us: 'I'm driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, "George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan." And I did, and then God would tell me, "George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq …" And I did. And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, "Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East." And by God I'm gonna do it.'"

old news, as these things go...his press secretary has already denied Bush said any such thing...(doesn't mean he didn't, just that everyone is making sure that there is 'plausible denyibility')

Fortunately, Amos, Bush can't repeal the Magna Carta, for three reasons. First, it's not an American law. Second, the President can't repeal laws, only Congress can do that. And third, he has no idea what the Magna Carta is...he thinks it's a brand of Mexican beer.

Today's unscripted Bush pep talk to the troops has become a top news story.

It seems all the soldiers at the pep talk event were coached ahead of time as to what to ask Bush and what not to ask Bush.

Well guess what happened. THEY DISOBEYED ORDERS !
They spilled the beans about the coaching and asked the very questions they were told NOT to ask - repeatedly!

I can only say that as a member of the U.S. Armed forces that I am disgusted with the use of the military as propaganda. Sure the troops are doing the best they can, and most probably do think it's a noble mission, but they can't be smiling, happy go lucky while being shot at and blown up by the people they are trying to help. Especially when they don't have the armor (personal or otherwise) that they should have (and were promised). Just delay unitl it's forgotten.
