Northwestern Connecticut... My shop is on rt 202 between Litchfield and Washington near the intersection of rt.341.. Any catters driving by come in and watch the potter's wheel and talk to me.. I love visiting...Great Potterys Nr Cardiff , Barnstable and Newcastle.. All the best

Skarpi, this is the old thread from a ways back....I just refreshed it 'cause there seemed to be a lot of newbies who might be interested and it is fun to read about all of them, too.

It is also so much f to hear from you away up north in the Land of Snow & Darkness; pretty soon the daylight will begin to lengthen. Please keep telling about your land, music, and customs. They are so intersting to learn about.

Ma-K; in and around Ames, IA there's a great folk/rock group called The Nadas (http://www.thenadas.com) that I discovered on a vacation in Colorado in 1998. Go see them if you get a chance.

northwest in the Bighorn Basin Powell, about 75 mile from the east gate of Yellowstone. Great place to live mountains east and west We go back every summer for a month and get our lungs in shape again. Love that clean air and cool nights

Do you sound as beautiful as the wind in the pines and a storm coming down the valley? I don't care to hear the wolves. It would have been much cheaper to just park a sound truck ou in the woods somewhere. Strange....they(the wolves) don't seem where they are suppost to stay.

Hey, all; very fascinating to see where y'all are from and live now. I am originally from Elmira, NY; have lived in Geneseo and Rochester, NY; also in Amherst, Northampton and Easthampton, MA; and now live in Medford after 5 years in Brookline (both just outside Boston). Also spent two summers and one month of January in Oxford, UK (actually in January it was in Dorchester-on-Thames-- and dearly love this area and wish I could revisit there often. I also spent some time in Northern Wales which I also loved, as well as various other towns throughout Wales and England. I feel like I live in all these places since they are all so vivid most of the time...and since I wish sometimes I did not live exactly where I do... I wish flying a plane were not so damn disagreeable. peg

Bardstown, KY...up the road from Mary in Kentucky. I started playing mountain dulcimer last year and love it. I'm a regular KY Music Weekend and Week groupie now. James Jim, come to the Iroqouis Park Week and find the T-shirt booth with the teenager group, "Next Generation". They are the hottest teen dulcimer group in the country and all Ky born and bred. I help with T-shirt sales to pay for my tuition during the week. Ask for the mudcatter and I'll recognize you.
