Subject: RE: BS: 4-8-15-16-23-42 From: freightdawg Date: 22 Oct 05 - 09:30 PM Technically, although never expressly stated on the show, they could be using supplies pilfered from the luggage of the deceased. Therefore, they could be using shampoo, toiletries, etc. Same with clothes, although it is amazing that all the clothes fit perfectly. The men always manage to shave every once in a while, too. I've loved the premise of the show, although with the exploration of the "bunker" the writers of the show seem to be boxing themselves into a corner - but then they seemed to be doing that all along. Its nice to see the survivors from the tail section. See ya' in the next life, brother-- Freightdawg |

Subject: RE: BS: 4-8-15-16-23-42 From: freightdawg Date: 18 Nov 05 - 08:20 PM The writers have always sort of hinted that there were other survivors (the one lady who "knew" that her husband was still alive). I think what they have done is give themselves a fresh new set of story lines to explore for this series. Also, sets up a huge conflict between the two strong willed leaders, the male Jack and the female Anna-Lucia. But the writers had better wise up and quit killing off characters, at least characters that people might be interested in. Killing off Boone was okay, but killing off Shannon really bummed me out - she was to have kept the dog for Walt and she was Sayid's love interest and the connection to the aforementioned Boone. We'll see how it goes, but the writers are in quicksand as far as I'm concerned. Freightdawg |
