Well, we knew that, but now it appears he is off to the real Outer Mongolia to thank them for the 131 soldiers in Iraq (I wonder how much per soldier that is in aid dollars). First he stops in Kyoto, so as to waste fuel and to say nothing about the Kyoto Protocol; then he goes off to China to waste fuel and say nothing about Tibet and probably mess up the Taiwanese situatuon and beg the Chinese not to dump the US dollar before the next election; then off to Korea to figure out what to do about the Korean situation which is essentially unmanageable now; then Mongolia.

Perhaps he could stay there?

yours,

Peter T.

P.S. What is the difference between Inner and Outer Mongolia, I have often wondered?

Glad to see that he is conserving fuel. (There may be gas in connection with the Yak but it would be a step in the right direction. *G*)

"Inner Mongolia" is the location, according to some rumors, of the secret meeting place of the Mudcat Inner Circle Clique and Decoder Ring Society. (MICCDRS) Outer Mongolia is the provenance of Martin Gibson. In between is a vast and colorful (at least according to the map) area that is known as Munchkinland...

Seriously though, I hope he can stay on a yak better than he did on a Segway.

Inner Mongolia
The southern part of traditional Mongolia; during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), comprised the provinces of Suiyuan, Qahar, and Rehol; the present-day Nei Monggol Autonomous Region of China (Outer Mongolia, q.v.).

Outer Mongolia
The name applied to the northern part of traditional Mongolia during the period of Manchu control (1691-1911) and commonly in Western literature thereafter

Tannu Tuva
Uriankhai region of northwestern Outer Mongolia (q.v.); in December 1921, as a result of Soviet insistence, it became the Tannu Tuva People's Republic, the independence of which was later recognized by Mongolia in the Mongolian-Soviet Treaty of Friendship of 1926. In 1944 it was annexed by the Soviet Union as the Tuvinian Oblast of the Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic, and in 1961 it became the Tuvinskaya Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Tuvins (q.v.). The precipitate cause of the annexation in 1944 was the birth, in Tuvina, of one Martin Gibson, to a farm animal.

Seeing that this region is home to some of the best horse riders in the world it may be that they can show the Shrub how to be mounted & then dismounted. I'm sure the Shrub could be doing some good throat singing of his own there while being ridden. With that mouth of his, he'll be talking out of his ass all the way mixing good gas with bad. Hope he ponys into the sunset like in a B cowboy movie with Ronnie.(yak, yak don't talk back)

"Perhaps he could stay there".

Don't you think they have enough problems, living with one of the world's toughest climates? Now you want to dump your major waste product on them as well (grin).

The Shrub lies in Otta Mangolia,
The Shrub lies over the sea,
The Shrub lies in Otta Mangolia,
He'd lie wherever he be!

Now that's pure poetry! Beat that, Amos, if you can!

Cheerily,
Charley Noble

translation of a German article from DER SPIEGEL:

GEORGE W. BUSH IN CHINA

US President George W. Bush has called on Beijing to pursue democratic reforms and open up the country. There's just one problem: throughout Asia, Bush has a massive credibility gap when it comes to human rights and freedom.

How to start your day with a positive attitude:

   1. Create a "new folder" on your computer.
   2. Name it "George W. Bush".
   3. Send it to the trash.
   4. Empty the trash.
   5. Your computer will ask you: "Do you really want to delete "George    W. Bush"?
   6. Calmly answer, "Yes", and press the mouse button firmly

Hunnu = > Great Mongolian Empire (Gengis Khan) => Mongolia

Mongolia was Great Empire before 800 years ago. Now it is divided to 3 parts.
a) Mainland => Now Mongolia
b) in China => Inner Mongolia
c) in Russia => Tuva, ...

I hope ...
There will be a day that all Mongolian nations will be joined !!!

Today's cowboys have been invading Baghdad moving eastward as mongols once did moving westward. If Mongolia resemble Texas and mongolians resemble cowboys have we to argue that George W Bush is the actual western counterpart of Genghis Khan ? In this case we may expect to see him riding while proudly wearing a copper plated swastika onto his heart...
