I read it, without fail!
I'm out at a band rehearsal next week, so won't make it. When is the next club night after that?

Aha! The band practice is off, so I'm coming over tomorrow night. And no, I won't be doing that bloody awful 'Fairytale of New York' dirge, 😳

Welcome to the new year! Lets hope we don't lose as many talented musicians this year!
Epworth Folk Club starts as normal at The Red Lion at around 8.15 on Wednesday 4th January. Last weeks club was excellent despite the competition from the open mike session at The Mowbray.

Shame Backwoodsman! Do you have any other recordings for me to play on the show? I have The Fallen of Fulstow , but a couple of other tracks might be nice! If you are quick I might be able to play some before your appearance on the 20th Jan!

Check us out as Epworth Folk Club on Facebook as nobody seems to read this anymore! We are still at The Red Lion, Epworth, every Wednesday night- in Jinksy's Wine Bar.

Ah but Gerry, the weather is getting nicer, the nights getting shorter. Pop over and join us! The Mudcat or Facebook, neither beat the real thing! (Sadly, I too joined the Facebook nonsense late last year...)

You and Jim Burr can try outbanjoing each other, whilst being drowned out by the only thing that can, Jim Thornton's pipes....

Will you be 50% of my audience again at Epworth Music Day this year??

Might be a good idea to edit the Opening Post on the thread to show the correct details.
