HIYALL !!

Has anyone ever heard this fantastic bit of music ??? (or story?)

I heard it when I was about 10 years old (just last year :~> )
and I have always wanted to have a copy of it.

Does anyone know who did it, and when ??

I was recently reminded of it, and I wonder, I JUST WONDER if there is anybody out there who has it ??? Pretty Please

Would be absolutely WONDERFUL to hear it again, and again,
and again . . .

Hope to hear from Somebody . . . (anywhere in the world will do)

Jo-Jo

It was included on a 1970s album called "All Aboard" in the UK -- a collection of favourite children's songs. You might try a search of Ebay for that title.

A change of tack Jo-Jo.
The catalogue number for the album you are looking for is cdmfp6374.
Quote this number at any good record shop & they ought to be able to order it for you.

It was made into a cartoon as well - we have it on video and on vinyl.
The video includes the voices of Tony Curtis, Mel Blanc, Cloris Leachman and Vincent Price amongst others, and it lasts a bit longer - 45 mins.

"Play Piano! Play!!" I remember!

It's based on the sort of dream where you aren't prepared and you're out on a big stage with everyone watching.

I have a friend (banjo player at the time)who once dreamed he was asked to play at this big concert with a very important band. They started to play and he was told that they always played in "H sharp". He was terrified because he'd never heard of playing in H sharp. Suddenly he realized that he could play in "I flat" and it was of course the same key. Cheers, Joy

Hi billybob, according to my record jacket, Ray Turner was the pianist and Henry Blair played Sparky. The album was written and produced by Alan Livingston, story copyright 1947.
AND THERE'S A GREAT BIG SCRATCH ACROSS SIDE ONE!!!!
ARGHHHHH!
Robyn
