She's mentioned in several of my songs. I've got one called "Talkin' Winona" (a blatant Dylan copy)...and another called "Most Likely Winona" (damn good song, mostly social comment). Then there's "Perfect World", a song about what it would be like if Winona was my girlfriend/bride (very cheerful...you gotta hear it sometime). She makes cameo appearances in several other songs as well.

Winona, I think you are absolutely right about Bee-dub's idea. It's unconscionable to think of stuffing the ballot box here, as it were, with castoff junk from other threads, and I am totally against that being done.

I have made the humble suggestion that the forum moderators move all offensive posts which they would ordinarilly delete to this thread so as to push it further toward its stated* goal of 5000 posts. Pretty soon, we won't have to post to it at all. It will begin to fill itself up like the septic system of a KOA campground hosting a minor rock festival.

I am a genius. I would advise khandu to forget his futile quest for the "Time Magazine Man of the Year Award". It is mine!

As for being without a cookie, that reminds me of a little story my family doctor of many years (many years ago) told me. A man came to him complaining of a tapeworm which examination confirmed. The good doctor ordered him to drink one glass of milk and eat one cookie for each meal for a week and then return to the office early on the eighth day and to bring a carton of milk with him. This the man did and then the doctor sat the man on the exam table and had him drink the carton of milk. Very shortly the tapeworm crawled up the man's throat and stuck his head out of the man's mouth and demanded "Where's my cookie?" whereupon the doctor grabbed the parasite and pulled it the rest of the way out of the man's gullet. Ain't modern medical science something?

Hello, I am "Guest khandu" so, does this mean I am "cookieless khandu" or am I an "imposter khandu"? Either way, this is another of the necessary 5000 posts in order to get Little Hawk to Winona. Oh...the things we do for our fellow 'Catters; what absurb lengths to which we go!; what ridiculous things we do!...Sometimes even to our own detriment.
