After what 3 or maybe 4 years? I have returned.
It was an enforced absence, I didn't want to leave, it was that I only had access to a 'puter in work and the powers that be put a block on my 'catting activities.
3 friends of mine in work grabbed me, 2 sat on me while the other, using my credit card, bought me this laptop, 'cos I kept saying I hadn't space for a desktop. They told me it was for my own good. They then decided I needed broadband and signed me up for that.
Thank you Garry, Anthony and Michael, I'd almost forgotten what I was missing.

I've just had a search and found my last visit was 26 July 2003 and pm'd NicoleC about a copy of the Mudcat Cookbook. Any left I'm fed up of beans and cheese on toast:>)
Anything serious happened in my absence? Max still the main man? Anyone sadly not with us anymore, gone to the big singaround in the sky? Questions, questions, mutter mutter yawn.
Should be singing tomorrow with the Baggies but I have my aunty's funeral to go to and I'll be away for the weekend. It's one that I HAVE to attend, she was also my Godmother. The big C has claimed yet another. Saw her last weekend and it did cheer her up to see her favourite nephew.
For the newbies since my last visit, (I'm a fine one to talk - a born again newbie), who don't know, the Baggies are Baggyrinkle Swansea Shantymen, the best shanty group in Wales and are singing at the South Wales Boat Show in Margam Park. A boat show on dry land? Oh well.

Rick Fielding went to the great singaround in the sky in March of 2004. Others have gone also, but I don't know the dates for all of them, so they might have gone while you were still here.

Since you'll likely be looking up some of the older stuff to catch up on what you've missed, you should know that a "Crash" during your absence resulted in some mixing of posts in older threads. When you open a thread containing older posts they may not be in order of posting. You can click the "printer friendly" link at the top of each thread (probably also added in your absence?) to get them in proper order.

When you click a member name to see what they've posted while you were gone, you will also find the listing sometimes "scrambled" and there is no "printer friendly" on the report pages, so it may take some "optical filtering" (eyeball sorting) to be sure you've found first posts - or early ones, although recent "last posts" will usually be at the top (as yours was).

There are also some "double displays," especially in Member Photos. This probably does not mean that the members are twice as beautiful since the Crash. More likely their pictures (some of them) had to be posted twice to get to earlier levels of beauteousness content.
