I'm with Clinton on this. Liberty Meadows is a cool comic magazine with a great heroine named Brandy, and some great funny animals too. The only problem is that the artist, Frank Cho, is obsessed with gigantic breasts on women. Brandy's breasts have been getting larger and larger with each succeeding issue of Liberty Meadows. They were fine when it started out, then they got a bit oversized, then they got WAY oversized, then they got individually larger than her head, for God's sake (!), and now they are getting so damn large that it's just downright UGLY and grotesque!!! Sheesh.

Gimme a break. Return Brandy to the days when she had normal-sized, attractive breasts to go along with her other attractive features.

That was because Frank Cho refused to pander to the ridiculous milquetoast political correctness phenomenon that has eviscerated newspaper comics in recent years. He pushed the envelope too much for that...which is precisely what makes a good comic.

For example: Note that in the comic "Blondie" our hero Dagwood no longer gets into those classic, hilarious scuffles with his boss, Mister Dithers or his next door neighbour, Herb. You know? The two of them rolling around on the ground fighting like cats and dogs over some ridiculous disagreement...one with his hand jammed in the other guy's mouth, etc...

It was visually very funny, and it was one of the things that made that comic unique over what? A forty or fifty-year peroid?    Well...you will never see one of those Dagwood fight scenes again, because Big Brother (who is happy to murder people by the thousands in places like Iraq) can't bear to have a fantasy scene in a funny comic with two fictional cartoon people having a physical scuffle! Oh dear, no! It might encourage "violence" in children!

I pity this ridiculous society, under such hypocritical leadership as it is now.

The statement that I made is a quote from a friend of mine who works for the Triumph design dept, she has been there over 25 years.
She is also a singer with our local folk band.

Once I got past being embarrassed it just got downright annoying to be speaking to a man who seemed to think that ogling my boobs was some form of conversation. I often had the almost undeniable urge to put a finger under the chin of the offending male and lift his face to where he was looking at my face.

Unfortunately, without drastic surgery, women are stuck with the size of their breasts. Derogatory comments from men with regard to the perfect size of those appertenances doesn't exactly raise confidence levels in those women who already think theirs are too big or too small.

Being a loyal son of the prairies, I never developed a fondness for the Grand Tetons. Perhaps that explains my fondness for the petit tetons, which I fear are swelling into oblivion. At one time the common range was from AA through B with occasional references to AAA and C. Rarely did one see D listed, and E only in periodicals aimed at older women. Has there been an increase in the size of women's breasts, or is it that we are entering another period of big is better, causing the average woman untold grief because she isn't?

I can't claim to have made the detailed study of the fine print in bra ads that you have, but the folks at Playtex tell me that the best-selling bra sizes these days are 34B and 36B. The next best-selling sizes, in order, are 36C, 34C, 38B, and 38C. mY informants over here in Ulster working in that in the field confirm that women have been getting somewhat larger over the last 10 or 15 years; at one point 34B substantially outsold 36B. However, students of female architecture will note that this doesn't mean that breasts per se are getting larger. (Breast size, of course, is indicated by the letter, not the number.) Rather, women are getting somewhat, ahh, broader through the chest and back, if you follow me.

There are several possible explanations for this: either women are in better physical condition than ever, and thus have better developed (i.e., wider) backs, or women are in worse shape than ever, and have become corpulent slabs of lard. (Incidentally, some say that breasts per se have gotten larger over the last 15 years due to the use of The Pill, but this apparently hasn't had much impact on bra sales.) As for the disappearance of sizes like AAA, it's not because there aren't any small-breasted women around anymore, but because such women frequently don't bother to wear bras these days.
