Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological disorder characterized by tics -- involuntary, rapid, sudden movements or vocalizations that occur repeatedly in the same way.

Have you noticed it happens here some times? There are posters who seem to lose control of their movements and vocalisations when responding to other posts. Usualy resulting in bouts of pointless negativity and insulting comments? I am assuming it is involuntary as no-one would purposely come out with the type of comments I am thinking of would they?

I think we now have a term for it.

Intournettes syndrome.

I don't have a cure but I have a feeling that someone will soon:-)

Cheers

The only known cure is to transplant juvenile stem cells from the brain of Al Gore.

I think making the 'Preview' button mandatory would go a long way towards easing the syndrome.

My keyboard breathalizer still doesn't work. Such would go a "longer way".

And, it will come. Unfortunately.

A good old 4800 or even a 2400 baud modem would be even better.

"... posters who seem to lose control of their movements ... when responding to other posts...".

There is such a thing as too much information.

Psychotherapy, if I thought the posters,I mean
sufferers thought they had a problem, which I doubt.

Suprised none have joined in yet.

Mind you I'm not sure of Ivor's statement. If I Understood it I might;-)
