Subject: RE: BS: Constructive Valentine gifts From: JohnInKansas Date: 14 Feb 07 - 05:28 AM Gee golly, such good ideas. I thought I was doing pretty good when I gave her a new yarn mop (she'd complained about the one we had was too big and heavy and this one's much lighter) and a new cover for her ironing board (that she'd asked for, so that probably doesn't really count). I had to go to four different vendors to find one that had an ironing board or a cover. Apparently only quilters need one these days, but even the quilt shop didn't carry them any more? Being an incurable romantic, I did gift wrap a new set of batteries for her B.O.B., but maybe I should save them for Xmas.(?) (I used pretty generic wrapping paper.) John |
