Never cared for the stuff. Tried it once when I was about fourteen and found its results unpleasant. Used to have the bartenders send me lemonade (with a twist) when folks wanted to buy me a drink back in the dark ages when I was still working the occasional bar job. Worked the same consumer rip-off when I sang at the Limelite in Aspen. I've no idea what the bartenders charged the generous customers, but I'll bet it was for more than just a lemonade. Used to sing for fun at the Blind Lemon in Berkeley where the pay was a pitcher of beer. I sang, and my (now) wife drank the beer. That was okay, as it made her delightfully amorous. Sufficient reward! Quit doing bar jobs back in 1960 and never regretted it. I don't care a fig about what other folks choose to do for recreation, but drinkin' ain't for me.
