Dear Kat'leen, Max, and Mudcatters All: Many, many thanks for the wonderful honor that you have so graciously bestowed uopn us. We appreciate it so very much. To be in the same company with Jean Ritchie and Art Thieme is an honor in its own right! Our profound apologies for taking so long to acknowledge your delightful gift. Our life seems to become increasingly complicated with family commitments anad the exigencies of trying to keep aafloat this small business we started with Lee Haggerty so many years ago. Our sons, Dave and Rob, help us when they can, but they each have other full-time jobs and families of their own, so we are quite literally a "Mom and Pop" business these days. But we love it, and we get much satisfaction from continuing the work of Folk-Legacy. Each of our recordings brings back memories of recording sessions and good times spent with friends. Because of the business and the responsibilities that come with it, wse haven't been able to devote as much time to the Mudcat as we would like, so there are many of you that we don't know, and who don't know us at all. We hope to get the chance to know you better! To all of you again -- thank you! Caroline and Sandy Paton
