If you're looking for good western song material, take a look at the Mudcat Auction. The Lingenfelter/Dwyer book, Songs of the American West," offers some 200 songs, all with melodies and guitar chords. David Cohen did the music editing and guitar arrangements. All the proceeds from the auction go to Max and the Mudcat. Y'all bid now! It's a great book. Harry Tuft, of the Denver Folklore Center, recorded "Old Dolores" for Folk-Legacy.
