Just finished a "pub" discussion on this issue.

Personally, I think this is a case of the punishment NOT fitting the crime. But, at the same time, I cannot think of a more fitting person to receive three years jail for being so politically dumb and naive. This was definately a "political" sentence.

Please explain.

Mind you, thank goodness somebody with a bit more intelligence did not front the One Nation party, because there were enough Australians out there who were being taken in by the rhetorical bullshit they were coming out with to have influenced an election.
